The League of Legends World Championship 2026 has reached the knockout stage. Following the final Swiss Stage matches, eight teams remain – and the quarterfinal draw sets up T1 against Karmine Corp, Gen.G against LYON, and an all-Chinese clash between TOP Esports and Invictus Gaming.
The first best-of-five begins on Tuesday, November 3. All four quarterfinals are scheduled for 22:00 UTC, with the winners moving into the November 7-8 semifinals.
Worlds 2026 quarterfinal schedule – UTC
Every quarterfinal is a best-of-five series. The matches are held at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas.
- Tuesday, November 3 – 22:00 UTC: TOP Esports vs Invictus Gaming
- Wednesday, November 4 – 22:00 UTC: Gen.G vs LYON
- Thursday, November 5 – 22:00 UTC: Dplus KIA vs Bilibili Gaming

The schedule reflects Riot Games’ official Worlds fixture list, checked on November 2. All listed start times are in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Check the official schedule for any late changes.
Which eight teams qualified from the Swiss Stage?
Two Korean squads finished the Swiss Stage without a match loss. Three teams moved on with 3-1 records, and the final three places were decided at 3-2.
- 3-0: Gen.G and Dplus KIA
- 3-1: T1, Invictus Gaming and TOP Esports
- 3-2: Karmine Corp, LYON and Bilibili Gaming
The final qualifying matches saw Karmine Corp sweep Movistar KOI 2-0, LYON beat LOS 2-1, and Bilibili Gaming eliminate Hanwha Life Esports 2-0. Those results completed a quarterfinal field with three LCK teams, three LPL teams, one LEC team and one LCS team.
It also means G2 Esports, Team Liquid, Hanwha Life Esports, Movistar KOI and LOS are among the teams whose 2026 Worlds campaigns ended during Swiss.

Two big tests for the remaining Western teams
Karmine Corp vs T1 is the standout matchup for European fans. KC qualified through Play-Ins and recovered from a 1-2 Swiss record to win two elimination series. Their next opponent is T1, the defending world champion. KC have already beaten the odds to reach the last eight, but a best-of-five against T1 is another test entirely.
Gen.G vs LYON is equally demanding for North America’s last representative. Gen.G went 3-0 through Swiss and already beat LYON 2-1 in Round 3. The quarterfinal gives LYON a rematch, this time with a spot in the semifinals at stake.
The other half of the bracket is no less compelling. TOP Esports and Invictus Gaming guarantee one LPL semifinalist, while unbeaten Dplus KIA face a Bilibili Gaming team that survived a final-round elimination match against Hanwha Life Esports.
Semifinal bracket and Worlds final date
Worlds 2026 uses single elimination from the quarterfinals onward – losing one best-of-five means going home.
- Saturday, November 7: Winner of TOP Esports vs Invictus Gaming plays winner of Gen.G vs LYON.
- Sunday, November 8: Winner of Dplus KIA vs Bilibili Gaming plays winner of T1 vs Karmine Corp.
- Saturday, November 14: The grand final takes place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The quarterfinals and semifinals remain in Allen, while the championship moves to Brooklyn. Gen.G and Dplus KIA were placed in opposite bracket halves after their 3-0 Swiss performances, meaning they cannot meet before the final.
