Karmine Corp Sweep MVK 3-0 to Reach Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage

Karmine Corp are through to the League of Legends Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage after sweeping MVK Esports 3-0 in the Play-In final on October 18 in Los Angeles. The victory earned the LEC representative the last available place in the 16-team Swiss Stage and set up a first-round meeting with China’s Anyone’s Legend.

The decisive series was KC’s second 3-0 win over MVK in three days. Although MVK fought back through the lower bracket, Karmine Corp finished the four-team Play-In without losing a series.

Karmine Corp 3-0 MVK Esports – October 18, 2026

KC took control of the opening game, finishing with a 13-2 advantage in kills. Jungler Yike stood out in Game 2 on Qiyana, recording a 9/2/2 scoreline as Karmine Corp moved within one win of qualification.

MVK tried a different approach in the third game, but the European side closed the best-of-five without needing a fourth map. KC ended Game 3 ahead 25-12 in kills, with bot laner Caliste posting a 9/1/3 score on Ezreal.

The scoreline mattered beyond the individual series: only one of the four Play-In teams could qualify for the Swiss Stage. KC secured that place, while MVK’s tournament ended in the final qualifier.

KC’s route through Worlds 2026 Play-Ins

• October 15 – Karmine Corp 3-2 Cloud9: KC recovered after falling behind 2-1 in a five-game opening series.
• October 16 – Karmine Corp 3-0 MVK Esports: An upper-bracket sweep secured KC’s place in the final qualifier.
• October 18 – Karmine Corp 3-0 MVK Esports: The rematch completed qualification.

Across those three series, Karmine Corp won nine games and lost two. Its only game defeats came against Cloud9; KC subsequently won eight consecutive games to finish the stage.

MVK had its own recovery story. The team beat FURIA 3-0 at the start of the Play-In, lost its first meeting with KC and then eliminated FURIA again by a 3-1 score to earn the rematch. Neither series against Karmine Corp produced a game victory.

What’s next – Anyone’s Legend in the Swiss Stage

The reward is a tougher opening test. Karmine Corp face Anyone’s Legend, the LPL’s top seed, in the first round of the Swiss Stage on Friday, October 23 at 22:00 CEST (Swedish time). The match is a best-of-one.

Worlds 2026 moves to Allen, Texas for the Swiss Stage from October 23-31. Sixteen teams start with 0-0 records, three match wins secure a Knockout Stage place and three losses mean elimination. Each subsequent draw pairs teams with the same record.

Karmine Corp have momentum from the Play-In, but an unbeaten qualifier does not guarantee an easy Swiss opener. The series against Anyone’s Legend offers a much more immediate measure of where KC stand among the tournament’s remaining teams.
