VCT Stage 2 Playoffs are live across all four VALORANT regions this week – Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China – with the winners banking the final spots at VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai this September. Here’s where things stand in the Americas bracket, the region generating the most action right now, plus how to follow the other three.
Why this matters
Each VCT region’s Stage 2 Playoffs sends its top finishers to VALORANT Champions 2026, the $2.25 million season finale running September 24 to October 18 in Shanghai. Two teams qualify through the playoffs bracket, with two more locking in via Championship Points earned across the season. For teams on the bubble, this week’s matches are the whole season on the line.
Americas Stage 2 Playoffs – where things stand
The bracket kicked off with Upper Bracket Round 1, and the results are in:
- KRÜ Esports defeated BESTIA, 2-1
- Team Envy defeated M80, 2-0
- FURIA Esports defeated 2GAME Esports, 2-1
- Cloud9 defeated Fluxo W7M, 2-1
Round 2 is underway now: KRÜ Esports face MIBR, Team Envy take on Sentinels, and FURIA Esports meet G2 Esports and Cloud9 face Evil Geniuses on August 16.
Sixteen teams entered the bracket in total, including Sentinels, LOUD, NRG, G2 Esports, 100 Thieves, and Leviatán Esports – a genuinely open field with no shortage of storylines heading into the final rounds.
