Team Spirit are the CS2 Esports World Cup 2026 champions after beating FUT Esports 3-1 in the Grand Final at Accor Arena in Paris.
Spirit recovered from losing the opening map to win three straight, closing the best-of-five on Nuke. Danil “donk” Kryshkovets was named tournament MVP as Spirit claimed the title and the $600,000 first-place prize.

FUT struck first on Cache, taking Spirit’s opening-map loss 13-10. Spirit answered immediately on Anubis, edging a 16-13 battle to level the series.
Ancient proved even tighter. Spirit came through 16-14 to move onto championship point before taking full control of Nuke. A 13-5 win on the fourth map ended the series and secured the EWC trophy.
donk named EWC 2026 MVP
donk was named the tournament MVP after leading Spirit through their championship run. Spirit reached the final by beating Legacy 2-0 in the semifinal, while FUT advanced with a 2-1 victory over FURIA.
The Grand Final was the first series between Spirit and FUT, and FUT’s run ended with the $340,000 runner-up prize after reaching their first Big Event final.
Legacy beat FURIA for third place
Legacy finished third after defeating FURIA 2-1 in the third-place match earlier on Sunday.
FURIA won Ancient 13-9, but Legacy responded with consecutive 13-9 victories on Nuke and Dust2 to complete the comeback.

The result brings the CS2 Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs to a close after the August 19-23 run in Paris.
