The CS2 group stage at the Esports World Cup 2026 wraps up on August 16, and the playoff bracket in Paris is starting to take shape. Here’s who’s through so far, who’s still fighting for a spot, and everything you need to catch the knockout rounds live.

Confirmed playoff teams so far
Group A: GamerLegion and G2 Esports advanced after G2 beat BIG in the upper bracket and GamerLegion swept JiJieHao.
Group B: Team Falcons and FaZe Clan advanced, both winning their upper bracket matches 2-0.
Group C and D are still being decided – check frag.se/cs2 for the latest results as the lower bracket deciders wrap up on August 16.
What’s at stake
The MongolZ are defending their 2025 title, but they’ll have to get through their own group before playoffs even start. Team Vitality and Natus Vincere are both still alive in Group C and Group D respectively as of this writing, and either would be a serious threat to the top of the bracket.
With a $2,000,000 prize pool and a spot at the top of the club standings on the line, the playoff stage in Paris is shaping up to be one of the most stacked brackets of the year.
